About Bo

I meet my clients on their journeys of becoming the happiest and most authentic versions of themselves. I invite you to celebrate yourself – the genuine, whole yourself. In my work, the starting point is often one of these topics:

- Feelings of self-doubt, feeling ‘not good enough’ or feeling like an impostor
- People-pleasing, pressure to deliver on expectations, difficulty saying ‘no’
- Life/relationship/work feeling ‘blah’, lacking meaning or purpose, feeling stuck
- Loneliness. Diversity, identity and inclusion: difficulties of being genuinely you and still belonging.

In addressing and overcoming these, your already existing resources (your character strengths, values, motivations, needs, unique experiences, etc.) will be your foundations for building confidence, authenticity, self-esteem, a feeling of self-worth.

Humanistic psychology, the integral framework and the systemic approach are the foundations that I base my practice on. I work mostly with language and stories (i.e. talking) – with an (optional) invitation to also include embodiment, mindfulness and intuitive techniques. My goal is to assist your process of owning your dreams and emotions, of clarifying your needs and objectives, of discovering your inner strengths and working towards solutions and goals. In our work together, we will work not only on mapping out your current challenges, but also creating strategies and tools that you will be able to take with you and use in the long term. I am happy to share a bit more about how I work in our first, free, introduction call.

For each and all of my clients, I am committed to providing a compassionate, curious, courageous approach to counseling and coaching, to creating a non-judgmental, safe, confidential space, and a process facilitation that is aware of, and sensitive to your needs and celebrates the uniqueness of your experiences. This is especially important for me in my work with LGBTQ+ and BIPOC folks, female professionals and leaders, expats in intercultural contexts.

My clients describe my sessions as safe, warm & gentle, while at the same time being constructive & forward-looking. I aim to offer the right balance of compassionate listening and active questions/exercises to encourage change and growth.
