I am Rokas, a Lithuanian psychologist based in Berlin, offering support to individuals navigating anxiety,
depression, emotional difficulties, and periods of change or uncertainty in their lives.
My path toward psychology began in early adolescence, and took on deeper meaning through a
formative volunteer experience in Spain, where I worked alongside people with disabilities. That
experience — of being genuinely present with another person in difficulty — stays at the core of how I
work.
Before moving to Berlin, I spent two years working as a clinical psychologist at a mental health centre in
Vilnius, where I supported individuals through some of the most difficult periods of their lives — including
acute crises, self-harm, and suicidal ideation. That clinical grounding informs how I work today: I am
comfortable sitting with serious and complex difficulties, and I do not shy away from the harder
conversations.
I draw on a range of evidence-based approaches, including EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and
Reprocessing) and Mentalisation-Based Treatment, adapting my way of working to each person's needs
rather than applying a fixed method. I pay attention to the emotional, relational, and bodily dimensions of
experience, and I believe that meaningful change becomes possible when a person feels genuinely
heard and respected.
Psychological counselling, for me, is a collaborative process. I will not offer you a formula or a map — but
I will accompany you with curiosity and care as you find your own way toward greater insight and
wellbeing. A free 20-minute initial consultation is available so we can explore whether we feel like the
right fit to work together.
I work in English and Lithuanian, in person in Berlin and online.
